Country House Rescue Series 4 with Simon Davis



Channels 4's new Country House rescue series was truly both a pleasure and a joy to watch; coupled with the affable charm of the new host the series is bound to go to greater heights. Here is a snap shot of the properties which were visited in series 4:

Caryatids Definition - Ancient Architecture

A Caryatid is a stone carving of a draped female figure, which is used both as a decorative architectural feature and primarily as a column to support the entablature of a an ancient Greek temple. Or for a Grecian-style building which emulates various motifs inspired by classical architecture.
